Hi guys, haven't been on for a while but just wanted to let you all know i now definitely have frogs they have become quite vocal over the last few weeks.. haha i have recorded 603mm this month and 1469mm This year however unsure how accurate these are as my pesky rain gauge kept overflowing due to air lock.... grrr

Anyways bagged 130mm since yesterday morning with plenty more to come in the coming days i presume!!

Month to date I have clicked over the 1000mm mark. Not a bad drop at all.

Maybe some convergent areas will happen over the next few days, could be some spectacular rainfall numbers - or not lol.

Doubt there will be much wind, definitely looking forward to rain again, this should get that Tinaroo at 100% - be the last chance this year

It could(and I emphasize the word could) be an awesome finish to the wet season for the NTC if Nora does all the right things. Could be squat too.

Oh must you mean this one ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SIaFtAKnqBU

Plenty of this floating down off the hills around here, especially when the McLeod gets flooded over https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gsC4kf6x_Q0

Look's like a wet week ahead for Cairns an surrounds http://www.bom.gov.au/jsp/watl/rainfall/pme.jsp?ref=ftr

Hahaha marakai.
Some other interesting goat sounds. https://youtu.be/GuSVF0YGHvk
I have a video of one of my goats in labor and it sounds like I am murdering someone.

Back on topic. This is the first STC in the gulf since I have been here. Do people think we will get the falls predicted? What will our weather be with a cat 4 pretty much as close as it can be to us in the gulf? Are there any cat 4s in the past that have been in a similar position to Noras forecast track?

32mm for me.

Let’s see where this Nora lands. That will depict the rainfall for here I think. The further east and north up the cape the better for rainfall.

Then again what do I know.

I'm thinking you and I might both crack that 1000mm or come pretty bloody close,RF.

Seems to be taking a more easterly movement each run so we should see some great falls in the coming days
