Poor old Hayden Walker needs to give the Weather Guru caper up.

Maybe he could get a job at Woolies stacking shelves, because he couldn't be more wrong on his predictions.

Cheers HF. Man I cannot for the life of me understand why anyone other than an old Englishman would want to live in Malanda. Damp, depressing a$$hole of a joint.

Happy birthday Weary!!!!

Watching this GOC low closely. Would be great if it did cross over the cape or at least come close enough for some good falls. Would be awesome if it did an Ozzy just with a little less flooding. We can dream!!

WZ forecast seems hopeless in the current situation, forecasting next to no rain, look at radar, the entire north coast is rapidly filling in with rain. Each night we get 20mm - 30mm on a near zero forecast.

They are all as bad as each other at the moment Wandjina. Look at BOM's forecast over the weekend and we got SFA, weatherzone was closer lol. Forecasting in FNQ is obviously very difficult as nobody gets it right very often. Down south you could nearly always rely on BOM's 4/5 day forecast to be right or pretty close.

Yeah, I think both may be lacking in local knowledge atm? I mean who would put out a flood watch 4 days in advance in FNQ with forecast rainfall totals of 20-50mm, even with saturated ground that ain't no flood trigger. Meanwhile a minor flood watch had to be issued for the Tully river this morning due to a quick 80-120mm. Anyway the battle of external work in the tropics continues on.

Meanwhile, don't think i've put any salt in the pool in the last 700mm or so, might be down a few ppm laugh
