That Penrith forecast Homer is almost unbelievable. How much more of this can people stand out there.
Well they chose to live out there, they can deal with it!! Pure and simple.

I'm loving the warmth. Today there was barely a zephyr (to quote Tim) with stifling humidity and now a storm. Four perfect days. Saturday was a bit disappointing but hey, could've been a lot worse; more cloud and cooler etc.
I guess I'll be adding knot to my Homer list; if they're complaining then I am delighted.
Should do a random poll - do you prefer the classic Sydney Easter of rain or this weather? Go to the Easter Show, ask a random sample of 500 and see what the results are. It was ideal Easter weather and I think it wil be a long time before we see another Easter like it. My guess is that next Easter will be cool and rainy as usual. I'd ask a random sample of tourists that travelled down or up the coast for the long weekend. Probably the busiest Easter I have ever seen here, In fact I reckon Easter was busier than Xmas-New Year.

Actually today the heat was pretty bad today at the Easter Show there were quite a few instances of heat stress out there. Are there any studies on the financial results of a rainy Easter compared with a fine Easter? Possible that insurance companies have the data but have they done any meaningful analysis with the claims vs weather records? Any actuaries out there??? Data scientists?

I'm actually sure there would be a lot of people that didn't choose to live there because they wanted to but because they had to for work or family reasons. It's a $***hole!!
I'm not surprised Eddy, the traffic was so busy down this way on Thursday with people heading to the South Coast.

But they are probably happy to put up with the heat, I hate the cold, I lived in and worked in Canberra for nearly twelve months, but not once did I whinge or complain, if anything I rather enjoyed the challenge.

Very lightning active storm passing between here and Gosford at present. Lots of rumbles and a very good light show.

Can see it flashing every 3 seconds up here south of Cessnock looking south it looks like passing right over Gosford.it looks heavy on the radar, more look to be developing to the west of that storm as well they might move north into the Hunter ahead of the weak southerly change.

Well they chose to live out there, they can deal with it!! Pure and simple. Bout the most arrogant thing I have heard on this forum. Lot of people are not always able to leave an area. Often its not a choice anyway to be there. It just is their reality. Whether its a heat issue or something else, many just can't get up and leave.

Nicely done CS22, is that storm looking north towards the Central Coast? Yes that was the beginning stages of what now is the central coast storm complex.

What can I say this is an epic storm here now CG's all over the place. Striking interval every 10 seconds or so.
Edit: Lots of sirens about now as well.

Wind starting to rip thru Swansea now. Rumbles and some impressive lightning to the south. Looks fierce on radar

Great light show for the welcome home from holidays as well. Look's like there is a slight chance of round 2 coming.
Happy Easter all! Cheers.
