Tick over 40mm in Westbury. Quite a few totals between 30-60mm this arvo, took some before pics the other day - road and stormwater flooded. Dodgy trip down the highway tonight.

Very quiet over here in the West. Not enough rain yet to register in the Nylex.

Just came back from a drive around Launnie. Heaps of roads around town are flooded and some out at Invermay would easily have 0.5m of water in the middle with the edges of the road heaps deeper. During the last downpour manhole covers in town were getting lifted off leaving the holes exposed in the middle of the road. Still raining a bit now, have had 68mm here in Perth according to the nylex since this 9am morning.

Just a few pictures I took. Quality is a bit average but you get the idea.

Out at Invermay. Probably one of the worst streets.

84mm to 6"30 this morning, pretty much the whole meander catchment has had similar falls. A few totals along the east coast over the 100mm mark.

Just over 13 mm here in Hobart , seems to be clearing now. So we probably have seen the best of it ? My wife was in Huonville yesterday and she said they got rain most of the day and sometimes very heavy , Southern side of Mt W so it gets a bit wetter down there.

85.8 is a record for the current Launceston town site (started 1980), although an earlier site had 104 in April 1974.

MH - you should still have more rain today I suspect (hope)

BLAIR - cheers fro the "heads up" grin

Shame a bit more of this rain is not in the West and NW. Maybe when the trough moves eastwards, western areas might get something out of the southerly quadrants? Fingers crossed.

Area around Triabunna/Swansea/Orford had 100mm in the 3hrs to 12pm... totals shrink a fair bit as you move inland.

Gray 359mm in two days - could crack 600?

I suspect you will see little to none of anything coming from the NE unfortunately. You need the Westerly quadrant winds. frown
