My data is up.

The first half of April was several degrees warmer than average (see my separate thread). Second half was close to normal, with the result that the whole month was not as far above average. Nevertheless, it was the hottest April I've recorded in my almost quarter century of records.

Page 15 of the above linked document shows temperature trends over the last quarter century at my place. A few years ago I observed that there was a rising trend in only a couple of months, but now I'd say there's a rising trend in eight: January, March, April, May, June, August, September & October. See what you think.

This entry is late because my landline phone failed, taking down my internet connection, and could not be repaired for twelve days.

April was one of the warmest, with a record high mean daily minimum of 12.5 degrees, two degrees above normal.
Rainfall was low, but not a drought.
