Looks like the Indian Monsoon is ramping into gear again. Check out the latest runs from GFS and you can see it moving up the west coast as it heads north smile One of the biggest weather events on the planet - and unlike our cyclones it seems to run like clockwork.

Love seeing how much rain one of the wettest places in the world gets at this time of year - mind-blowing amounts of rain - no wonder Bangladesh floods:

Heading towards wet season again in India. Looks like the annual rains start making a return into the East Khasi Hills, and in particular into the amazing (from a weather perspective) town of Cherrapunjee, in a few days:



Only a tasting of the real rains to come, but still pretty impressive shocked

Apologies, only mm for now but still an accumulation of nearly 200mm in just a few days...with the heavy falls to follow...
