Yeah don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying it but I would enjoy it more if its falling where its needed.
It will hurt the back pocket this week, but I have had it good for so long.

Heaviest we’ve had in, what 2 months, here right now! More traditional southerly stream showers thanks to the sw’erlies backing off. I see Channel 7’s model (must be BoM?) says 50-100mm from Kiama north to almost the border this week. We’ll see.

I feel like we will do pretty well out of this as winds turn more easterly. The orographic lift should serve us well. It seems we rarely do well out of southerly events as sits just out to sea and hits Sydney. But for the next few days it wouldn't surprise me if we beat coastal Sydney in rainfall.

Was sunny earlier and I was going to take the opportunity to repair a chip in the windscreen and the resin needs natural sunlight to dry. Clouds have now rolled over so I couldn't do it.

Rain is still a bit too southerly do anything here so we'll just get dregs of drizzle instead of actual rain from the rain band moving up the coast. Kino right on the coast may get a few heavier showers.

Your radar looks great! Solid slab of showers to our south that looks promising IF it can get over the lump. Pity I'm working, a drive to Saddleback would see some decent (well better than sw'erlies and sun) weather today.

It's been a fairly sunny morning in Sydney. It's already 16 degrees and seems to be on its way to the low 20s. The forecast says winds will turn Southerly and it will become cloudy with showers. The last rain here was around 10:00 yesterday.

It is far from over in your area EddyG,it is going to get very boggy under feet there.still dusty here and all creeks dams dry.brown grass and the winter frosts when they start will make it worst.

Actually drove up Saddleback yesterday and it was classic. Looking from north lookout you could see increasing blue sky towards the north. The very top of saddleback was in fog. Towards the south quite gloomy with obvious precipitation, but probably thick mizzle.

Same up the mountains - heavy mizzle at times, of course nothing on radar as it'd be under the beam I'd assume.

Saddleback doing a superb job at blocking these showers, not a drop is making it over at this stage. We need the steering flow to turn mores sse/se before we will see anything decent.

Gees Eddy its crazy how much the penninsula gets. I have observed it can be very wet in droughts as the synoptic pattern in those conditions just create lots of Southerly and SSW airstreams, perfect for soaking you guys and nobody else!! Should see Grahamstown dam jump a bit....

Its been crazy alright GR, Not sure about Grahamstown Dam, but certainly good for Anna Bay's water supply as of last week it was sitting on 51.2%.
Grahamstown is sitting 72.9%

Looks like that may change for you soon Steve. Showers pushing into the southern 'burbs now.

Hefty cell sliding along the coast right now - got into dark orange for a frame, pity it's missing everything - hoping it side-builds as it slides north; look out Sydney it it continues.
