No good Werner, feel for you folks out that way.

Tomorrows change looks beneficial to those of us lucky to be in Vic's SE going by latest GFS run:

Will believe it when the gauge is emptied, but this looks to be a decent wintery burst with potentially storms to herald its arrival??

The lack of activity on the Victorian thread says it all really. Nothing of note for at least 10 days.

Melbourne's just (as of today) slipped down to its driest start to a year on record (42mm so far). January-March was 4th lowest and the 3 other years all had some rain in the first 5 days of April.

Thanks Blair (I think).

I've poured out 94.25mm here in Nth Central Gippsland, pretty much evenly distributed over the 3 months, we've had some storm luck (only local to Maffra township) .....but remain well below our average of circa 162mm to end March.

Actually got 1.0mm last night, maybe a little more early Tuesday (or late Monday) and then decidedly cool with perhaps some more weather possible late next week.

GFS and EC showing a warm windy start to Easter followed by a decent frontal system/possible cut off low for Sunday/Monday. AccG less bullish.
