That was actually a bit hairy at times last night. Was hearing a lot of creaking and banging whist drifting off to sleep.

So it made the news -- most of roof ripped off club rooms due to severe weather . Not going to mention the prefix they used because I'm not interested in that stuff in this post. See 7 news if not sure what I'm talking about.

Not long to go now for the 2018 ASWA CONFERENCE to be held right here in Adelaide 10th-12th August! If you haven't yet booked, you don't have long. Check out the great presentations on the Saturday on the website. https://aswaconference.weebly.com/

does include Friday dinner, morning/afternoon tea, Saturday lunch, plus 3 course buffet dinner Saturday night.... plus Sunday BBQ lunch. Personally I think its amazing value when you factor in all the presentations etc....

Absolutely, when it is broken down the value is second to none. Even more so when you factor in this level of event has only been here once before and could well be another 10 years before it comes back! And you cannot put a cost on meeting and making friends/mingling with the most passionate like minded people in the country when it comes to weather and severe weather. I've been to the 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 & 2015 conferences and they have all been sensational. TS

yer saw that happening from lonsdale when i was out and around, was off to my northwest, isolated and comparatively narrow although may have extended further north that i couldn't see, to my west and southwest stayed out to sea and was low but didn't appear to make the surface. nice sequence, you got a shot showing it to the sw, where were you, around brighton?
been watching this since it first appeared on the 10 day, it's hangin on and so far models are in good to excellent agreeance. a sustained whopper system with huge coldpool penetration, lotsa rain and multilpe fronts later this week, but wait there's more, the weather will include a deep and complex cutoff low AND a set of arse kicking coldies absolutley free. finally going to get a decent polar pulse by the looks. and it's going to hang around for 5-7 days too. hope this delivers some decent goods for farmers.
resident thread starters......on yer marks.

This coming Wednesday evening looks hopeful: PS: How does ThÜñDå HûÑtÅ get a "Weatherzone ratbag" class - totally jealous! Should I be more "forward" in my views?

It may stay West of Adelaide and all of Eastern SA, think it will go North and only give rain to the EP, possibly some to the Yorke, and little elsewhere.

you don't even come close to being within a bulls roar of that status sunshine. most people who try end up tripping over their own vindictive spite, personal attacks and bullsheet and getting banned. like the old song goes "it's a fine line between pleasure and pain". best stick to what you're good at.....maybe 'weatherzone thread starter' would ba a good one for you the promise of a snitchy cutoff low and coldpool has disappeared quicker than a bogan at a tea party. the days are beginning to moderate from the constant 15-16°(interjected by 12-14°), for here anyway........finally the head banging is coming to an end. dunno if it's just me but winter, or moreso the cold, seems to have dragged it's feet for a particularly long time this year. just have to wait and see what the storm gringe has for us this year. couldnt be worse than last year.......could it? lets not go there, too depressing.
