Had some decent showers overnight with 7mm in the gauge this morning. Looks like a few showers around for the remaining of the week. Looks like Sunday may be quite wet in some places.

Dormant. Very disappointed with your super powers. Thought you were going to get the tap turned off

June will be the third month in a row of below average rainfall at Bilyana (3 month total is 182.5mm below average), however the huge falls in March more than make up for this.

Glad you're so chirpy dormant..I'm sure you would be happy frolicking in the fields at Mareeba with Simmo's happy goats.... wink.. .every step I take at the moment feels like stepping in sloppy dog crap...I don't want to work outside and the weather is way to crap to go fishing...

I think once the last child leaves home after this year we may look at holidaying somewhere dryer at this time of year...the plants look after themselves with this weather..they don't need me at the moment..

Ha, Scott, can't help it, my slavedriver is away for awhile so.. no schedule, no rules and no chores until it stops raining and I can patch the roof. You're getting a lot more drizzle than I am, not mired in mud here.

Cavorting with goats sounds fun, Diane Cilento offered me a couple long years ago but we hadn't built enough house to live in, let alone look after pets.

Fingers crossed for some rain this weekend. I have not recorded more than 2mm since 28th March. Would be stoked with 10mm and ecstatic with 20-30mm

Stuff the rain. We've had plenty enough to green things up,- now's the time for 4 or 5 months of wall to wall blue sky.

It has been really, really, struggling to rain for the last hour or so. Just occasional splatters on the roof, and accompanying change in the air. But just...not...wet...!

It's sort of been "raining" all afternoon, but the gauge is still completely dry. Did this sort of thing last year and the year before at about this time, four days each time. Fingers crossed.

Are we the only ones getting this rubbish weather...?..been averaging around 20 mm a day of drizzle and showers for the past week or so...below average for last month but about as wet underfoot as I have ever seen it..on top of it, we have these incessant Sou-easter's... its bloody miserable..

Simmo, can I come up and cavort with your goats please..?..I'm even happy to sleep in the barn with them as long as its dry.. crazy grin

Dormant, it was a good decision to not take the bugga's ..they need super good fencing or tethers, otherwise your garden and your neighbours would be toast..!..

Pretty crappy weather up here too, Scott. Only a 3mm in the gauge today and 7.8mm over the monthly average last month. Bring on the Cairns show so we can see some dry season weather!!

Jeez mate. I am starting to wonder about you born and bred northerners. A couple of weeks ago you were whinging about the most beautiful weather you could imagine because your toes were a bit chilly. Now your toes are warm your upset again. Can't please some people grin grin
