Very dry here in N GIppy through to Cann R.

Tallied 2mm for this event (hopefully get a shower or two tonight) to up the tally a little.

When will it rain here? - 26mm last month, 6.75mm this month so far (normally 62.5mm/month).

Samboz - if the bar ran dry, then its straight to bowls instead.

Fire out there still going air support called in today - which had to be brought online as you could imagine nothing is online yet. Earliest air support deployment i've ever seen

Another 0.5mm sometime last night to tally 2.5mm from this weekends frontal system.

Strong westerlies atm, and fine. Wont help with the E Gippsland bushfire.

Yes, Logansi, there's a real, deep, dryness. Long time to go until "normal" fire season ... but if there's not a significant change, a serious situation is developing.
