Us Vic's will be sick of the wind by next weekend, not much rain, only adding to those SW to NW exposed regions that have continued to do well over the past month or so:
[edit] - how good is this snow season!

Petros.......I been reading from experts from Antarctica of that winter will longer when Sun starts shine Antarctica with weak Sun Spots so the polar Belt more likely stronger from October to November.
I Can't confirm if SE "Victoria Australia will keep getting late cold winters fronts all way end November and or is Heat from NW WA will push fronts way more warmer.
We just wait see end of September/October see what our weather pattern doing..

Some on climate thread hinting at conditions suitable for rain in SW Aus over coming months, same at AV Weather. This weeks pair of systems still holding similar to prog's several days ago:

What a windy mongrel night, blew and rattled the house/neighbours all night, highest gust at E/Sale 87kph. Non recordable sprinkle of rain round 0700. Day for indoor activities, might find the marbles

Weak front has pass, no rain and hope some cold cells give some rain but more likely along the south.

If BOM's outlooks are anything to go the only thing going up will be the deficit

This second front looks wicked, I declare Sunday a sleep-in morning!: You're kidding right? I'll be up Mount Dandy for hopefully the best fall since 2007!
