Emergency warning issued for Hepburn bushfire, in central Victoria Big problem is middle of divided ranges have steering winds as North is N/NE wind and cool breeze can change winds in evening.

Latest published scan shows the Walhalla fire expanded to nearly 1000ha moving to south. Storms with lightning becoming general along the E. Gippsland coast.

This Emergency Warning is being issued for residents south of Gillingall on Hunter Lane.

There is a bushfire south of Gillingall on Hunter Lane that is not yet under control.
The bushfire is travelling in a south-easterly direction.
This fire is threatening homes and lives.
Firefighters have been unable to stop the fire and it has crossed containment lines.

probably still yet to hit a trigger.... The northerly winds will not have many impacts on the community around that fire for a bit of time. When the change starts to push through it should move in emergency warning

If your refering to the fire showing just south of the Emergency warning area for the Timbarra fire you can ignore it, its an event which has been created because its the meet up point for CFA strike teams.

This Watch & Act message is being issued for Seaton.

This Watch and Act replaces the Advice issued at 13:33.
The bushfire west of Seaton has become active and producing large columns of smoke.
Residents will experience ash, burnt leaves and smoke in the area.
Review and activate your fire survival plan including any livestock & domestic pets.
Firefighters have been unable to stop the spread of the fire. Staying close to a building you can shelter in is the safest option as conditions can change suddenly.

The bushfire south of W Tree and north of Murrindal is not yet under control.
Firefighters have been unable to stop the fire and it is now spotting over the Murrindal River.
The bushfire is travelling in a south-easterly direction towards Tulloch Ard Road.
The bushfire crossed containment lines south of Gillingall near Hunter Lane.
This fire is threatening homes and lives.
Residents of areas between W Tree and Murrindal could be impacted anytime within the next two hours. Leaving now is the safest option, before conditions become too dangerous.

Reports of some isolated very heavy rainfalls around Bairnsdale. Nothing here.

Constant thunder for past 2 hours or so.

This Emergency Warning is being issued for Cowwarr, Cowwarr Weir, Dawson, Swing Bridge, Toongabbie.

There is a bushfire at 6.7 km NE of Walhalla that is not yet under control.
The bushfire is travelling in a south-easterly direction.
This bushfire could impact areas between Cowwarr Weir and Toongabbie any time between 6pm and 8pm.
This is Emergency Warning replaces the Watch & Act issued at 4.10pm.
The are between Cowwarr Weir and Toongabbie could be impacted between 6pm - 8pm. Leaving now is the safest option, before conditions become too dangerous.
Emergency Services may not be able to help you if you decide to stay.
