The better storms about today on the northern MNC formed ahead of the southerly change.
A hailstorm moved through the Bellinger Valley this afternoon around lunchtime affecting places around Urunga. I could hear the odd distant thunder roll from here. Videos and pics from the storm in the comments: https://www.facebook.com/bellingenweather/photos/a.487816447941345/1937927636263545/?type=3

Any storm that formed behind the change was short-lived. View of the convection westward after the change -

A very brief storm here this afternoon and a little light rain have brought 1.8mm since 9am.

The rain/storms yesterday were very patchy. Had the car parked outside yesterday during the heaviest of the rain and it was so intense it cleaned the car, but 2km down the road we had barely any rain.

Salisbury event total 15.8mm....just what the yard needed, the grass might start growing back over the bare patches now. It's a shame there's bindii popping up now, but easy to spot the bright green weed amongst the brownish grass.
