Not my stats but it looks like 21 Victoria stations have recorded record low September rainfall.

These include:

Mildura, Hopetown, Swan Hill, Edenhope, Horsham, Nhill, Stawell, Warracknabeal, Castlemaine, Falls Crk, Mt Hotham Airport, Ararat, Mortlake, Mt William, Westmere, Lakes Entrance, Mt Nowa Nowa, Omeo, Bundoora, Laverton, Scoresby and Viewbank.

Also only 2 stations have exceeded the monthly average being Yarram and Pound Crk.

- 79.2mm fell during September, which is above average. Rainfall was 23.3mm above the September average (Sep Avg. 55.9mm), or 141.68% of the average.
- There were 15 raindays during September (Sep Avg. 8.3 raindays). This is the highest number of raindays during September since 1997 (16 raindays).
- The wettest daily fall of rain was on the 23rd, when 17.0mm fell.
- There were six thunderdays (day when thunder heard) during September, on the: 7th, 8th, 19th, 20th, 26th & 28th.

The only excitement this month was breaking the record for the lowest 15-month rainfall total. The total of 400 mm beat the record of 404 mm that had stood since 1912.
Otherwise, the month was just a bit dry. Perhaps we are recovering from the drought, or perhaps not.
