You're not a nag. Apologies, but forgot there was a thread for this.
Every time I have checked this site today it has been on the D TO D thread or that rainfall deficiency one.
Will post in that thread in future.
Thanks for the reminder.

Supposedly 9-29C and sunny, until the change with rain arrives late today or tomorrow.
Once again the minimum is a couple of degrees lower than forecast, surprised to see that error occur so frequent lately.

Pretty interesting system next week. BOM has decent rain forecast for a pretty widespread area of NSW. Both BOM and GFS has a pool of cold air being dragged in. GFS has the 850s down around -2 to -3 and thickness around 534 to 535 over eastern areas. Could be one of those "snow in funny places" systems, and if not, some more decent rain for the eastern half of NSW!

Was just drooling over it - widespread rain with decent falls. Cut-off cold pool plus easterly feed = big rains for some and also storm activity. And the longer term models aren't slowing this unstable period down either.

GFS looks ridiculous for next week. Not as cold any more, although still pretty far out.

Bullseye of 230mm just south of Nowra within a 48 hour period.

Don't forget about the poor cows. Their milking will be thrown out of kilter.

And the Queenslanders call us the nanny state! laugh I am grateful for daylight sayings, another hour of sunlight in the arvo but the sun still comes up reasonably early. I don't like it much in March when the sun comes up at about 7am though.

Anyway it's raining very nicely here today. A few days ago the forecast was looking like just a possible shower.

Finally! Now I get home from work before dark.

Measured around 150mm in the past 10 days. Over it now. Can't wait for this pattern to flip so we can get some heat.

I'd prefer to walk about in such lovely weather, and watch the meadows & trees (especially poplar) weep against the wind.

Sunshine is overrated grin

I moved to QLD 4 years ago after living most of my life in Sydney. I got used to QLD not having DLS now, but enjoyed it when I was living in NSW. Most people born and raised in QLD are pretty stubborn when it comes to this topic, especially those who live away from the coast and further up towards the top end. My only gripe is it goes on way too long. Mid November to mid March is sufficient.

The subject gets brought up every year up here but nothing ever seems to come of it. I'm all for daylight savings and would prefer to align with the rest of the Australia but we are the backwards state after all.

Agreed, DLS does go on for too long.
They extended it by a month several years ago (from start Oct to early April), which was ridiculous.
When you are an early morning shift worker, and some people might have noticed how early my posts can be, you learn to hate it.
It really only helps those working office hours in the city.\
Strange sort of a day today, only 1.2mm recorded at the Airport since 9am, may have got slightly more at home, but not much. At least making 20C was up on the mediocre 18C forecast for today.
