In this case it should be as in bomb or drop in atmospheric pressure and cyclogenesis should create a few super cells.

Interesting discussion & input all ,,

I was checking the skew T's and they have there own story for the SEQld corner, GC,Briz ?
a) not much direction sheer until the sthrly comes through seqld corner around 7pm, Speed sheer is quite nice tho
b) Cap in around 3c closer to coast - which is quite moderate & stays with us all arevo & evening ?
c) Moisture in most levels is not great but better near & just off the coast after sundown ?
Just some points Ive noticed ?
Watching some webcams and can see the storm heads/towers trying to reach up & out, but evaporating like no-tomorow - just too dry me thinks ?
Maybe some high lbased spot storms carrying through the afternoon - speshely around the border & Sth there of.
Possible light show off the coast after dark ??
At his stage - Looking betterra for Tomoz on most accounts ????

I'm calling squall line. No supercells. Is today the day the supercell fans get to see there is more to good storms than supercells?

Latest forecast for the next 4 days does suggest the best falls will be in the sunshine coast north to the wide bay area.

Calling this afternoon and evening as a fizzer.

The edge has come off the heat, sun is going down, there is easily 100km of scud and cloud in front of this and there isnít much in terms of storm activity coming from this band moving through. Pretty disappointing really, particularly for Brisbane, which has missed out several days in a row now.

The possibility of secondary showers & possible thunder's during the overnight or early morning's been suggested by a number of models for quite awhile now.
