Live radar has a really big hook at Goomeri/Murgon/surrounds. I haven't seen anything like it.

Wow wow wow that Rainbow Beach storm intensified massively as it exited. Incredible supercell and it's travelled over 200 km.

The Goomeri cell needs to head more NE or it'll lose puff as it moves over the same energy-depleted track the Rainbow Beach supercell tracked across.

Also a lot of strong cells forming inland in NSW. Seems unlikely but wonder if anything might have the strength to make it to the coast.

Yeah if you set the Radar to a 6 hour window you will see they all start up around the same area, slightly North each time & they grow from there.
I saw the second one very early & warned my Daughter to drive home to Wondai; thank gawd. It's developed into a beast as well.
The third one looks similar; we'll see where the winds take it.

That Higgins live stream was possibly one of the most intense thing I have ever watched... gave me goosebumps. He looked to be in quite a bit of danger

Next one will come close to you. The stronger storms are moving NE rather than E. It'll stay strong if it stays NE because it's been clear most of the day. Get us a pic if you can!

- Tennis ball size hail (up to 7cm) was reported at Kumbia around midday.

- 4 to 5cm hail reported between Proston and Murgon

- 3 to 5cm hail reported at and near Gympie

- Vast property and vegetation damage across all affected towns

Looking like the early stages of something trying to form at Proston. Itís tracking slightly NE, so following the correct trends to the tornado/super cells we are seeing at Tansey.
