Enjoy the rain. I know you guys need it up there. We had tennis ball sized hail to our west last night near Gin Gin. Thankfully it died before it arrived here. We still got smashed by gale forced winds though.

Watched in all happen on the radar from here in New York, also watched my cam set up at home. Could certainly hear the heavy rain and thunder that's for sure! Hopefully there's a repeat tomorrow. smile

We were at a party at Rasmussen during the storm last night and had about a minute of pea or smaller size hail. What alerted everyone to it was the "ping ping ting" sound on the carport roof.

25mm. yes pea sized hail here as well. Lost power for a couple of hours. No fuel for the generator so we just waited it out. Generator now fuelled up and ready to go. Bit early in the season to be this prepped but what the hell. It was a great light show. Ha to go to Bunnings for a couple of twin packs of Arlec lcd lights.

Back home!!

Some nice storm out West, saw a lot of lightning when I was flying in this evening. I can certainly feel the heat after 2 weeks of cooler weather.

The radar really exploded into life in the last few frames! Plenty of lightning and thunder around here in Charters Towers at the moment.

Yes it did lurker, watched the line from about 4-5pm moving east, to die and slip north right on the coast. Was hoping to pick something decent up tonight, nothing else on the horizon after tonight. upper ross had a nice heavy shower over it.
