Continuing dry is a worry. The worst a lot of the locals have seen it here. I was talking to some cane farmers down in the valley and they recon if it doesn't rain soon they wont have a crop next year.

We were given an evacuation order last night about 5 pm but after several hours at the local pub the police says we can return home. Another day today to keep an eye out. Is still very smoky here...

My El-cheapo indoor weather station saying 35 deg & 35% humidity inside at the moment.
BOM still saying slight chance of a storm this arvo. The rain would be good, but certainly don't need any lightning causing more fires.
