Some continuity in the last 4 days max temps.
31.9c, 31.9c, 31.8c, 31.9c.

Steering is absolute sh!t this weekend for any possible storms.

Ha half your luck we've had 36=40 all week, Mornings are the worst with no breeze at all.

Looks like you would have got a good drop from that c@28.
Sh!t steering for us is good steering for you. Hahaha.

Sounds horrible marakai. What is your average for November?

Nice a cloudy this morning. Only going for a top of 29c today. After such an hot October I was expecting a hotter November than we have had so far. Not complaining.

22 mm

Over a period of about 2 hours. Nice first rain. Skies still grey this morning.

24.8 degrees and 64% humidity. A nice change after weeks of 38-42 degrees.

I can identify with that marakai.
When 34 degrees seems cool.

A lousy mm here. Not even enough to wet the leaves, but enough to create a steamy morning.

This weekend looked good a week ago for rain, but as usual when the days ran down it looked less impressive. Perhaps some storms up the Tablelands and some drizzle down here. See who the lucky ones are come Monday morning.

Have you not had a single drop since March?

After the failure of local tourism authorities to rename the wet season the “green season” I see the NT mob are trying to rename it the “waterfall season”.....

Nothing will ever beat the CU in the NT tourism slogan.

Have you not had a single drop since March?

I thought you must've caught some of that Tableland rain. frown
To be honest there was sort of 2mm over 3 days mid October - if you can call 2 drops a quarter mm, and judge 0.75mm as being worthy of recording. There was one measurement of one whole mm on its own.
The most I had in my rain gauge since March was a dead cockroach!

The "Cairns Highlands" thing failed too, thankfully... Didn't it?

I like it muggy like this. Not enough of it out here.
The usual lack of humidity drives me crazy...

Yeah its pretty juvenile humour isn't it..?

Just like some of our local folk coming up with this advertising campaign for Mission beach...

Get High, Get Wet, Get Laid..

Anyway really glad to see some rain out 28's way...it really must be pretty depressing for you west-of-the-ranges guys to endure such a dry period..even more-so when its people who make their living from the land or have gardens and animals that suffer....boy I don't miss that outback dust that creeps into every nook and cranny but at least you don't have to deal with rust and corrosion like we do here.....

2.5mm down here in the "Mission Beach Hinterland" wink grin ..

The best thing was the rise in humidity and overcast weather ...Just started lightly showering again and hopefully more to come in the coming days.....

BTW any thoughts on the government promises to get water to Townsville...will that only happen if the Coalition is re-elected..? or is it a done deal..?..
