Right place, right time, Great shots there Eddie.
The following shot was taken on a flight back from the sunshine coast this arvo of a decaying storm near Toowoomba, sure beats a clear blue sky at this time of the year.

Wow that is absolutely unreal. Imagine the amount of amazing cloud formations you would see as a pilot, would be an amazing job in that regard.

Awesome pic ConM!!

Coldest morning since last October here this morning with a low of 2.2, but no frost. Already down to 3.2 tonight, so should get our first frost of the year tomorrow morning if the wind and cloud stays away!

Great top view of a storm ConM.

----
It's a bit chilly around Sydney this morning. Cloud rolled in over the coast around 4:00 today, halting the drop in temperatures there. Even so, Sydney OH got down to 12.2, the coldest since November 8 and colder than all but one minimum in April last year. Inland, outer West sites dropped into single figures with Camden and Campbelltown dropping below 7.

Hopefully the cloud clears away soon. Today feels like it has the potential to remain below the forecast maximum of 22 with this cloud cover restricting any heating.

Let's look forward towards Easter. EC, GFS and GEM going for a bit of a ripper cold front passing SW WA and into Adelaide over Easter Friday- Sunday, at which point EC and GEM don't have model runs yet, and GFS sends it further down towards the south, missing us. Fingers crossed it follows EC's trend which could have it hitting SE Australia. The front actually has a potential to produce snow in the SW, with 850 temps of around -2 over the Stirling Ranges. One to follow.

Before that there is nothing really too interesting for us that I can see, it is just slightly warmer than average temps over easter, except maybe Easter Saturday according to Access, which might have high 20s for the western suburbs over Easter.

Oh yay the dreaded thin StratoCu is back in full force this morning. There's bits of blue sky through it but hard to say if it will actually burn off or just stay cloudy like yesterday.

Pretty much full cover of stratocrapulus here. I had a vague hope that it would be clear and sunny today as it cleared up late yesterday.

But no, the crap has rolled back in to ruin the morning.

At least it is mostly sunny now. Where I am at least.

The slow warm up over the next week and a bit gives me some solace.

It's truned into a not so bad afternoon thankfully.

I much prefer afternoon as my balcony garden faces NW and needs a much sun as it can get!

Wow, they have really butchered the WU site I see, not a fan of the new layout at all, some areas are metric some imperial with no option to change it seems. Not sure the rapid fire is still offered? it really needed an overhaul, but right now it seems worse than it was...

Can you really get a more perfect Autumn Day than today. Temperatures hovering around 25, an absolute lack of wind and perfectly clear skies.
