Have you got side and back fences, BW ? Knocking off a fella's rain gauge. What a mongrel act.

52mm out at the beaches so far today. One of those welcome surprises as it was almost getting close to needing to water the garden.

Just started raining 45 minutes ago.
At half hour my neighbour noted 17mm.
Nice.
Little bit of thunder around.

Edit.... Is this 30 or 31mm? 😊😊😊

Looks like relatively mild weather over the next week with boring SE winds. frown
There is a chance of a storm but not holding my breath for anything exciting.

37 mm for me. Herd of orange thighed tree frogs free to good home (or a bad home, any home actually) will deliver.

Yes DU, seems so. I was watching the radar off and on during the day and then knew it had hit home by the amount of water lying around. Must have been very localised as I have seen pics of flooding at Clifton shops car park yesterday. I reckon Palm Cove would have copped more.

Another 12mm overnight, including a nice patch of rain at about 5am.

Palm cove Surf Club had a video of a nice downpour on FB.

I'm away in Vic next week, sounds like I may have timed it perfectly ay Simmo?

GFS extended has been showing a low in the GoC around the 25th Jan. Has been there for quite a few runs now so fingers crossed.
