I signed up at CDWeatherforums but have to wait for staff approval or something.

Think I will stay with ski.com.au though.

I have not been able to verify this will happen. So if if others are planning some alternative archiving I would suggest still continue with what you are doing

That sounds awesome. Itíd be almost criminal if all the posts were lost forever. Even to this day, I still find the keyword search function absolutely invaluable for looking up details of past events for research purposes. Do you know if that system will have such a keyword search function?

Very quick response to my registration.

Yep.

And I notice the admin changed your log on username to this one very quickly. They did the same for me this evening.
Toboggan (registered 15 years ago) changed back to my WZ name of Homer.
They have been extraordinary.

And, it would be great if Ken Kato made the switch as well.

Sorry I havenít been able to comment much on this, Iíve been really busy. I will be making the switch, probably to ski.com.au and AWF.
I used to get on AWF all the time a decade ago but I havenít been on there since so I hope my login details are still valid on there.

The photo uploading is really great on ski, and on the next server update you will be able to upload an image that is 40mb as apposed to 1mb here.

Yup, definitely check your spam folder for your Ski confirmation. Especially if you have a hotmail account. This is what they told me over there...

Now for a weather report as WZ closes. I looked out the window and there is weather.

A bit amazing how antiquated WZ is when you compare to the 3 other forums I have signed up to. Really impressed with AWF and Ski. Both are really excellent. CDweahter is OK if you stay within the WZ area.

Whoís Ken???????? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😉😎. Ken you have been awesome, you have taught us a lot and also put up with a lot of crap from trolls and from people that had no idea of your qualifications and experience. Yet you stuck with us. And Seabreeze you went out of your way to be the best mod on here. Thank you. At least we know where most are so we will stay in contact. There have been some great contributors on here and thank you all. I just hope Laurier Williams is OK. He has been very quiet on all the forums. He was a wealth of knowledge too.
