Zoomed in on WZ Layers showed a half decent group of showers at about 14:40h to about 15:50h.
Passed from your NW to the NE, and missed you by less than a km. So close.

44mm here today takes me to about 98mm this week. Think you beat me though C@28.

EC is saying a bit more rain to come tomorrow and Monday. Will only take one storm to get above my April average of 9.5mm

150mm for the month

675mm since January
822mm since October

That's if I didn't start adding wrong columns again... 😑

Nothing recordable between March and October

Not too bad this year then. The 1902-2015 Jan-Mar average for Chillagoe is 586.2mm so you are nearly 200mm up.

13mm, finishes March with 311mm, a tad down on avg (366mm)

I should add that the avg is only for 6 yrs, and only 1 yr was above (last) with 1096mm which really bumped it up, all other years have been below 300mm (Avg 220mm).

Yeah gave up on the weed killer, trimmed some bushes with the chainsaw instead. Just cleaned up when this windy little cell blew through

Another 13mm so far today which will take me above my April average. Another 5mm and it will be my wettest April in Mareeba. Feels weird classing it as April when it is still March.
Ground has reached saturation point now. Did not get any big puddles hang around after the 44mm yesterday but after 13mm today the water is just sitting there.

Might see the odd storm around today though nothing like it has been. Happy not to get any more really as it just damages the low lying pasture now where the water pools.

That SE wind surge is creeping up the FNQ coast today and BoM saying things will get pretty wet in the usual places. This will probably be the start of the dry season for Mareeba.

Feels like the Dry has started here. Plants slowed growth. Lower humidity.

Creek is running, but not much water. It will dry up again by the end of this dry season.

Wish it felt like the dry season here C@28. It is still very humid. And with no night time temps below 20c yet everything is still growing like crazy. My ice cream bean tree is even flowering again along with a few others. crazy
