Well 9mm overnight in Perth and some double digit falls down south. Not bad for a November system. Hopefully a few more showers left in it.

5.6mm of rain so far with a good band of solid showers moving in from the SW so looks like the average will be blown out of the water.

Well Perth up to 8mm atm, lol, Kings Park must be blocking rain from the SW, seems wetter in most other suburbs. Certainly been a wet week for November.

the chances of any further development today look slim once this last cell passes to the west. the rest just doesn't look like much. There were some great looking cumulonimbus structures earlier.
Some thunder in Hillarys according to WA weathergroup member Craig. Quite a photogenic day today smile
Long periods of actual rain and very little wind. That doesn't happen very often here. It's very nice.

Must be glary with all that high cloud around. I was over on the weekend and Sunday morning sure was (may have been the 700 beers the night before that helped that). Saturday sure was a nice day.

Southern WA looked a bit better watered from the air than SA or VIC did (particularly SA and western VIC)

Not overly exciting outlook but still a hint at some upper level low type activity. Will have to wait and see.

The Goldfeilds are doing pretty good with rain an beleive me some of those places are so dry. From Wz..It may be the sticky build-up, with the Top End in the mid-thirties and horribly humid, but further south, widespread cloud has turned on the cool.

Much of the southern NT and eastern inland WA were more than 7 degrees below average today, with some places, like Leinster in the Goldfields of WA, not making it to more than 17 below average.

World famous Uluru stayed below 20 degrees - 2 degrees cooler than the overnight minimum last Friday! This makes it the coldest day since at least early September. Kalgoorlie's top of just 16 is the coldest November day since 2005.

Alice Springs, Meekatharra and Laverton have all also stayed 10 degrees or more below average.

Most locations have recorded at least a little rain, which helped keep temperatures down. Some, like Leinster have recorded lots of rain: 39mm and the highest in a day since January, 2006.

Kalgoorlie aside, it's not that unusual for a cool spell like this weekends' to occur when the rains come. Though that certainly doesn't mean it isn'twelcome, when the area is full of European and southern Australian tourists and temperatures where in the high thirties or low forties just days ago.

Well apart from SE Australia looking to get some rain this week it looks like SW WA may also as well with a low plonking itself in and around SW WA later this week producing more cool weather and quite showery weather too and perhaps some useful to good totals too on the offering which would make November a preety wet month smile
