Why the sudden appearance of non-weather related news items on the WZ homepage??? Lord knows if I wanted to know about the outcome of NSW elections or a dilapidated swimming pool there's plenty of places I could clutter my mind with such trivialities. Prefer this place wasn't one of them.

Edit. Sorry, just realised this should have been posted in the WZ Q and A.

The homepage says this site is affiliated with Fairfax which is now owned by Channel 9 . Expect it to get worse if they are the owners.

Also agree. I want the weather, not the news.

“Here’s what you need to know this morning”... 🤢
Such wisdom on behalf of the media to know exactly what I need to be aware of going on in the world to go about my life.

It's not so much that I don't like reading the news. It's just I come to weatherzone for detailed discussion of the weather, forecasting, past records and other tidbits.

Hi, Not only all of the above but there is this:

Hobart news: Anzac brothers honoured, Labor considers no-confidence motion in Ferguson
By James Dunlevie, Thursday April 25, 2019 - 07:49 EST

This is the Tasmania Now daily blog, bringing you updates from across the island state and beyond.

Actually tells you nothing.

When you do read one of the news items there are bits missing as in today's article in "Concrete wall at Adelaide's Darlington Upgrade starts falling apart after first rain falls for 2019":

Adelaide had its , followed by 24 millimetres of rain in the first four days of May.

Wonder what Adelaide had?

Regards…
