Feeling like the dry season now. The cooler mornings are lovely though they are later than normal this year. Current min average for the month is 19.1c. My April min average is 17.3c. That should change quickly though as we usually start getting some 10c mins by the end of April.

GFS hinting at a return to showery weather around the 23rd which would be nice. Will see what they are saying towards the end of next week.

I love April!!

Pretty nice out here too, before the humidity completely disappears.

Yeah the Dry-er season Simmo (for coastal dwellers)

Still getting the Sou'easters and almost daily showery drizzle...

Bloody horrible weather I reckon...cold temperatures, cold wet ground, crap winds ...definitely the worst period of the year in coastal FNQ, IMO...

Hard to believe that there is such a difference Scott. I have been swimming in the pool today it is such a nice day. The odd cloud about but mostly sunny and only a very light breeze.
As I type this the is not a breath of wind. Looks like there is a bit of wind at the MAP though

No swimming here in the foothills today Simmo...currently 26c ..I see a gust recorded up to 59km/h at Lucinda earlier...I wouldn't describe it as a nice day...mostly overcast, gusty and dreary would be the best way to put it...

A cheeky 3mm in the late arvo early evening yesterday.

Sorry Scott but it looks like another perfect day up here though there is a bit of breeze around. To be honest though, the only reason I am able to swim in the pool is because it has solar heating.

Ah you are a tricky bugga Simmo... smile

The old black polypipe on the roof trick or something more fancy...?

25c here at the moment and the sun has just put in an appearance.. I don't expect for too long though...

Creek swimming is over till the beginning of next summer now...and the ocean is certainly not looking too inviting for the easter break..

The Normanton barra classic would be the place to be this weekend..Damn maybe next year..

Busiest boat ramp down here is the one on the North Hull. Lots of boats sitting around just waiting. Lots of cancellations in the last week apparently.

Just hung the washing out, have the radar loaded and watching the sky intently.😂🤞

Non stop drizzle tending to rain up here in Atherton, I can imagine 99% of the punters in the park are pretty pissed off with BoMs 40% chance forecast. Its friggin 100% for crying out loud.

Would imagine it is pretty chilly too RF.

Haha pretty much C@28. The amount of times I drive from Mareeba during winter and it is 26c and sunny here and in Atherton it is 16c and drizzling.

1mm here from this mornings drizzle. Keeping things cool too at 20c.

I get my car serviced in Atherton and without fail I'm running around in a tee shirt freezing, and dodging showers. But I love the humidity.
