AccuWeather is nothing to go on at all. Anything more than 3-4 days out is a mystery especially in this part of the world.
All I know is it will probably get cooler/drier before it gets warm/humid again. Any and all rain in between is a bonus.

Well it is finally bloody raining. Had 14ml the other night. 17ml last night up until about 9pm and now there is another 45ml in the gauge.

Just constant rain with a bit of a downpour here and there. The ground has soaked most of it up which is good. The bottom dam has risen by a couple of feet. Probably the only water to go in in 18 months.

Feeling happier this morning.

Even though it isn't raining, Weatherzone says 91 percent humidity on the coast and 82 percent in Rocky. Sounds high considering it is mid morning.

It certainly is. Hubby got home a couple of hours after I had posted and we had had another 15ml.

Our top dam has risen by about a foot and the bottom dam by 2 or maybe 3 foot.

Looks like it will be scattered showers for the rest of the day.

We've got this drizzle going here now . Not on the radar but it's very wetting and constant.

I can't wait to see the sun.

Latest GFS sstill has 16 deg min next Saturday but OCF on 19 deg.

Weird here at the moment, it's drizzling but there's no cloud above us. Drizzle areas look to be heading towards us, seems to be a little bit of rotation out to the E off the coast

Not sure how to BOM work out their recent rainfall maps, but they are horrendously wrong.

50mm at home since yesterday morning. Nice soaking rain. Today was our best 24 hour total since December and only the second time above 30mm in a day since March last year.

Not sure which area on the map you are referring to ?

---

Going into May now and Rocky is still looking at 19 deg night temperatures and days around 28/29 . Apparently 14 deg is the min temp in May on average and 26 day temp. That SW change that GFS was going for is out.

BOM recent rainfall maps for the week. I think they must use weather station combined with radar data to make the maps. I have never found the radar data very reliable. I would call it a rough indicator. Apparently everyone around my area on the BOM map had 25-50mm. I have not heard of much over 20mm for the week in my area. It was very hit and miss again.

I tipped out 24mm in my gauge for last week, less than what Yeppoon got . Not sure if mine is 100 percent accurate.

Was out in the garden this morning and already saw a heap of wriggly things (mosquitoes) in one of the bird baths despite the rain adding water to the bird bath. Got rid of that promptly with fresh water.

Recently drought declarations now include the Ipswich, Gladstone, Scenic Rim, Rockhampton, Livingstone and Central Highlands regional councils.
