Currently in Sunny Corner, 3’c is the present temperature. Had a few showers roll through but the temperature would not drop any further. Bit of sleet in the showers but that’s about it. Looking at Weatherunderground I cannot see any lower temperatures so maybe a while if at all before it snows.
Heading back to Sydney now.

Watched that storm drop a few spits in the city and that was it. Saw my pws register a couple of mms and the accompanying cold downburst. Now watching a few CGs off the coast.

The Thredbo cams are showing some meaty falls at the moment. Not sure if this is setting in or a passing snow shower. The interesting part is the wind direction; opposite to last week's event.

Tomorrow morning looking super windy, especially up on our hill Kizz. What is the highest wind gust you've recorded?

Upper cold pool starting to make it's presence known - bloody freezing here yet nice blue skies with some cu around you'd be deceived.

Little chips of ice falling in North Katoomba now. Not big enough to be called hail - really tiny.

Snow is starting to pick up here at the Ag Institute in Orange but not settling. Some decent sized flakes mixed in with it

Yes Alby...I’m in the CBD of Orange and it was snowing quite heavily for about 10 mins here too but just stopped. I am pleasantly surprised by this turn of events !!

True 'calm before the storm' here right now - crystal clear blue skies with fat Cu off the coast and a summer-like smoke haze and freezing cold. #weirdness

17C and bloody freezing hey. Oh wait, it’s all about those ‘feels like’ temps 😂😂

2.3C at Orange Ap and the wind still has a hint of N’ly in it. Could be good when it swings SW’er.

I thought it was quite pleasant sitting in the sun at lunchtime, almost 18C.

Funny that the temperature drops when I get back to Sydney. Down to around 2’c at Yetholme according to the Weather Underground PWS. Should snow for sure around Sunny Corner later this afternoon tonight.
What are the chances of seeing snow on the eastern side of the Blue Mountains tonight into tomorrow (Blackheath / Mt Tomah) ?

This event really doesn't seem to be boding too well with me; much of the moisture's steering north-eastwards to the CT's, mostly leaving me with drizzle flakes. whistle

Quite cold, however; 1.4° C at 3:27 PM.

Can't wait for the low to bomb off the coast, exciting times ahead. The synoptic map shows quite a complex system, interesting to see how it pans out. June is definitely looking like a crazy month this very strong cold pool, followed by an easterly dip over Qld.

Wow is that a warm front on that chart? I've never seen them over the mainland, always over Tassie.
