Seems like you guys in central & eastern Gippsland can't cop a break. Hope you get something decent soon.

Only a trace of rain here today in morning spots and a rainbow above the town late arvo.

First decent shower for this event has just arrived. Great to see rain in other much needed regions.

[edit] - we got to 23.5C here today in the NE'ly winds.

Great to see rain over nearly all areas (except GIPP and E/GIPP.)

Haven't turned heater on tonight, first night in maybe two months, light shower here last 15 min with some gusty winds.

East Sale max today, 21.5C @ 1.07pm. Still 14.7C @ 7.10pm, most unusual after recent weeks.

Some wild storms here Saturday afternoon. Lots of areas around us (Kyabram (Most of the town), Tatura, Shepparton etc) blacked out for 6+ hours from about 4pm. Not good for the pubs, clubs and takeaway joints on one of their busier days. Strong wind gusts and lots of trees down. Managed to get 14mm bringing us to just below the monthly annual rainfall. I'll be waiting for the reports in the media of "mini tornado"

I managed to trace what I interpreted as the track of the tornado with the help of some Sentinel-2 satellite imagery. The first scan was taken on the 25th, the second captured today. The path of broken trees is a good indicator that there was indeed a tornado. The annotated path is roughly 1.2km in length.

Nice work on that!

It's looking like strong F2, possible F3 damage

Looking good for a serious dumping of snow later next week. Nice cold pool and a good bit of moisture.

Fine and strange day here, got quite warm "puff's" amongst the NW'ly wind during the morning, 19.5C at my place (presumably then) - then went cool and westerly late am onwards. Felt a spit or two that made it to the ground from very high level. Cold n calm out there now.
