haha nice work Ian... you've jumped on board quickly - or have you been on there for awhile?
There's talk of dedicated sub-forums on ski.com.au forums as well.
Plus a couple of major weather websites are tossing up the possibility.... stay tuned for your options....

There is not a clear answer as of yet but I do believe it is a combination of things from the easy use of social media, not as many people discussing on the forums, people dont have interest to keep this forum running and potentially many others.

seems the other forums are up to speed with the transition,
i got two options on the table atm, i really don't know
wether i'll lean to one or the other or just sit onthe fence
with both, time will deal with that conundrum.

Might only visit here once a month or two for a quick looksee these days but it once formed quite a large soak of my time many years ago. Was surprised to read that its closing. Sad to lose this huge repository of events and happenings over so many years. I guess the accountants have finally taken over the running of everything now. Their invasion is complete.
Farewell weatherzone.

gday mate, how you bin, good to see you at the last post.
yep the anal greed and lust for money knows no bounds,
over educated and under moralised permeates everywhere.
nothing and no one is immune, but when you have federal,
state and local governments setting the example you can"t
blame private enterprise for following suit.

one to go.....

What seems to be the general consensus on where people are heading, particularly the south Aussies?

It's sad to see so many forums close or just decline into inactivity. I know social media is largely to blame but its sucks for people like me who do not use any of the currently popular social media platforms.
