Pretty much sums it up. Shame a bullet doesn’t find his head at speed.

Not sure if true as I do not read News Corpse papers as they are opinions rather than facts.

News Corp columnists declare Cardinal Pell innocent and 'a scapegoat'

Yeah, I saw that last night. What a joke. And Miranda Devine is one of the worst 'journalists' this country has ever seen.

Abbott and Howard are no better. They've come out to support him.

I for one am surprised at his being found guilty of this crime but not of the others he committed hiding and spiriting away priests before the cops could investigate them. Many of us have direct knowledge of what happened and as RWM says the guilt and health issues will stay with some of them until they die. Mind you I was just about turning cart wheels when I heard about his conviction.

The judge got it wrong when he said Pell is extremely arrogant, the whole bloody catholic church is arrogant in the extreme!
And yes, nowhere near enough time.

I'm in Abbot's electorate and on my morning commute today I saw him at Cremorne Junction bus stop trying to press the flesh. Cremorne is one of the major express stops so the bus spends a frustrating amount of time there.

I noticed that the vast majority of people totally blanked or ignored him. Encouraging. Not sure if it is related to Pell or if he is considered a total dick in general.

Of Course the Royal Commission was about Hiding /handling of child abuse. Not the abusers themselves.

The Vatican Summit on Child Abuse finished the day before Pell media block was lifted ......so no one here probably even knew it had been on. /the Order of priests that a few of us exposed hiding abusive priests overseas, has still not agreed to join the Redress Scheme and are still resisting. They have Fr Paul Pavlou and Klep up again for sentencing at the moment ....one of Fr Klep's charges is raping a four year old boy ..and these guys are still paying his lawyers with church moneys amassed from the parents of these children ..they have no conscience. .

We have a Redress Rally on Victoria's Parliament House steps on the 31st March.
May fire in all state but at this stage we haven't even advertsied it being there is so much noise of Cardinal ....yet he is but one ...there was over 4400 complaints to the Commission. Lets not forget the rest.
