Is it just me or does it seem like were having a deja vu version of last summers weather pattern where NSW got all the hot weather and we were stuck with cold and humid conditions not sure anyone else has noticed it

Was surprised to see many full dams in the hills over the weekend. Most of the areas between/surrounding Crafers and Mt Barker have had good falls recently.

It's certainly looking like a wet start to August.
EC atm has the city getting 118mm by the 9th lol.... OCF has 46.5mm by the 7th.

You're 100% correct there mate. Anywhere pretty much south of the Riverland and the Victorian Mallee completely missed out. It was 27C or so up here, in Mildura and Sydney, yet at the same time even in NE Vic it was mid-high teens on the 29th.

Nice "warm" night so far - Kent Town 17.1 DegC.
I've got: Baro Temperature: 13.82 at the top of the stairs .. guess that's why I've got 3 layers on. The northerly was fun cycling home towards the south today, east was a little more difficult ;-)

Yer don't think we will see much before the end of the month but IMO September is going to be HUGE! Plenty of colder air and upper troughs, hopefully with moisture coming down from the NW.

I would love to see some white knuckle ball tearing severe storms happen for SA in mid-late September/early October that affect the whole of SA not just certain parts like last years super storm did

Or even better i could go for a nice warm spring in September as well either way as long as there's not much more rain as we have had enough down this way

We have not really had a deep trough yet this season here in SA.

I think the probability of significant upper trough activity crossing the Bight and reaching near Adelaide near the end of August is much higher 3 days on smile .
