I'm looking forward to reading the decision.

It's against my thoughts but then again I'm a stickler for the rules.

Can't wait to see how the Commission got around them! laugh

But good on Freo.they sorta held on..yeah!

Just an adjunct to my previous post...when I say I'm a stickler for the rules...please believe me I'm only referring to sport. Even then only as a non participant (these days)!!

Bring back the biff! Way to go! :p

lol you wish!
bombers been on the wrong end of some close matches the past 4weeks, time to turn that around.
significant cold front due sat night, could play its part, make it hard for forwards.
going to be a great match what ever the weather, i say bombers by 19.

BTW, the footy tipping competition has been revised and Carol Gregson is now the winner from last week... (MH you may need to fork out an extra 3 months silver lol....)

LOL yer, glad I didn't 'win' it last week come to think of it.

Tipping is getting interesting now, time to make my move I think. Ben, you really slid off the mark last week!

Good to hear the Saints have decided not to pursue legal action.... best to let the whole matter go now and get on with the season. Especially with the indifferent start the saints have had.

Hey TS i looooved that win by ur crows last week - first time the puppies have come up against a real backline this year - highest score for the round and biggest margin - rub it in mate. wink wink
re dockers - good to see the points awarded fairly, even if it cost me a place or two in the picking, i can't even feel sorry for them though when they r 36 pts ahead and then fall over the line by a debated point! like i said last year, they will never win a flag with the present coach - nice chap but tactically not up to scratch imo.
despite picking Saints i had a good round in local comps and picked up a few nice weekly prizes...one local jackpot is up to $250 this week, but u have to pick all 8..... not many 8's about this year with such a good season.
anyway there will be a few upsets as usual this week Friday nite should be a close one, St Kilda Doggies both have points to proove after last week, Dons & Richmond can go either way, Hawthorn / Roos is tricky......but i recon Micks due for a win this week.....
Good luck to u all  FE

I cant believe the imbeciles that have been pretending to umpire the game atm between the saints and doggies, and even last nights game as well.... the umpiring has been crap. Blatant frees missed while other frees awarded for no reason... Again it appears the umps want to be the stars of the show.
Its about bloody time they shut up and stayed quiet and let the real stars do their job...
*end of rant*

Good win by crows last night, was always comfortable that they would even with the second quarter comeback because the crows spread the load so evenly that any team that relies on one or two key players (chad cornes, tredrea, lade, kane cornes and p burgoyne) is just going to die against them.

After WC lost to Freo crows are now top and if you look at the top eight as it stood last night, crows have played five of the teams in there and only one outside (port). Our very tough run of travel doesnt really end until about round eight or nine I think it is, after that we should be at home for a number of games against the lower ranked teams which should help to set up the season, even if injured players dont come back, or indeed, if there are more injuries.
