They've been quite absent so far this summer, but the persistent E'ly flow over the last few days has pushed them into the coastline. Not yet in plague proportions, but certainly enough to reconsider a surf on the open beaches.

Yeah Benny,
I noticed these cute little buggers down at Mollymook last year in November...there were literally thousands of them getting an early morning tan on the beach.
Thank Huey we've only got the occasional bloke with a white point here in South OZ...

yea....i did see one down at goolwa cockling the other day!...and i used to see em quit often down at wait but i havent been there for yonks...lol...i reckon we r pretty lucky not to have them real bad coz i think just plain stingers hurt enough
