Yes, given the natural variability in wind speeds, predicting a 3 knot increase would seem to be a tad unrealistic.

I think that anything higher than 33 knots is gale force so they kept it at strong wind warning although i might be wrong.

They should place a gale warning out since there is one for the west coast of VIC back to the border for winds of 25-35 knots. Might be upgradaed overnight.
