Yeah the summer's been crap, although my trip over to SA for 2 weeks made up for it, and that south swell. We've now got plenty of swell lined up for the next 4-5 days.

And I remember running into Bluey's only a couple of times, but more so seeing them washed up on the shore along the Middleton stretch, not actually in the water. Must seem like you're over in warmer waters poke

The only plausible place form them to come from would be over WA IMHO. The Leeuwin current might be heping to get them around the SW of WA and then blown over this way.

Couldn't imagine them coming from here as they would have to get around Tassie and then back up, but you never know!

Goodluck tomorrow!

also encountered those blue bottles!! were nasty buggers....

have been absent fora while as i forgot my login... whoops. ha ha.

i went to yorkes last weekend and had a blast over at pondie. then over the weekend just gone I went out at knights and had an awesome session. everyone left when me and my mates paddled out. then about an hour later 10 surfers paddled out.

there is alot of exposed rock at knights atm. probably the most i have seen in quite some time. i am not going to be able to head down for a while because i've got to finish some study. but i am so excited to get down there asap.

went down to the mid coast on the weekend and got some very average 1' - 2'ers... still good fun to be in the water though.

i think i might head to parsons on sunday - there's a bodyboarding ocmp on a knights so every man and his dog will be there.

hopefully score a few decent ones.

i must also admit i am really looking forward to the first stormy of the year!! i can't wait to head out a christies. such a fun little wave!

This break called "Ours' in Botany Bay has to be one of the nastiest breaks ever. Its an amazing video but a warning, there is plenty of blood and a nasty injury at the end. Man, those fellas are mad surfing it at this size.

Been a while since this has seen action .

A full week of Offshores , and solid swell for Vicco . Esp. " Deep seated spots " .

And a very strong chance of A serious ECL/ Cut off drifting west from NZ . In or around the first of May . Almost like clockwork.....

Autumn has started off much better then summer. Was a nice overhead E swell yesterday breaking on some really sand banks which made for some interesting drops on my esky lid. Today seen a building southerly swell, was pretty small and weak when i first paddled out, but built to overhead just before midday.

Banks are really shallow and straigh at one of my locals, which would be rather annoying for all the surfers.
