Currently wind here on the lakes is 25 to 35 knots, yet there is no strong wind warning. As it has been blowing at about this strength all day when does the bureau consider it waranted. As a boater on these lakes I must say I'm unimpressed.

Judging by the wind reports through the East Gippsland coast today, they should definitely have had a strong wind warning in place today. Strong wind warnings are issued when the wind is expected to exceed 25 knots. As you say, it's been blowing 25 to 35 knots through much of the coast all day.

Another day with winds currently around 20 to 30 knots with a high gust of 38 knots so far, and again no strong wind warning. Is it because the bureau doesn't know it's happening or is it simply because it's too much trouble?.
