I was wondering why the Queensland LT is always a bit over an hour behind??? All the other states have up to date LT images...

(I am also wondering whether or not there is a DLS algorithm in the time and that wasn't taken off for DLS hence the hour time difference?)

confused The QLD traker now has 1850 EST and NSW 1850 EST too. The only explanation I can come up with is that you managed to check the images in between updates - but even then there should only be about 15 minutes difference. I'll keep an eye on it...

The image i'm getting for QLD is time stamped an hour behind the others too. At 7:25pm the national and QLD scale images show exactly the same thing but QLD's is time stamped 18:20 EST while the national's is time stamped 19:19 EST.

D'oh! I was looking at the radar composite! I now see what you mean. AC, I think you've probably got the right idea - only affecting QLD though. Will get onto it...

Hi Craig - ok cool! I was wondering because sometimes I keep hitting reload cursing cache and then finally decided it wasn't me... smile

Solinid...there's a few storms around (both off the NE NSW coast, some are getting nicely into the red!!!) And also just north of Brisbane. The lightning would be fairly infrequent, and certainly any ambient light from Brisbane won't help your cause for viewing it. It's not hugely close either, but there is definately some around!
