Plenty of lightning on radar from that storm in the Carnarvons. They always get a good storm out there. There seems to be a decent chance for something around Emerald - not so sure about Rockhampton thou, maybe a early morning shower once thunderstorms die out and drifting towards the coast. Maybe tomorrow for us.

A few showers have fired up along the ranges in Capricornia. Have to see what the rest of the afternoon brings.

Great site - have been out to Biloela today - they must have had a bit of rain over the last week - lots of water laying on the side of the road between Rockhampton & Biloela.

Looking forward to some afternoon storms - I miss them :p

Well, best luck Kymm you will get to feast your eyes on lightning tomorrow (and hopefully an awesome storm also).

it is pretty clear around here now though, that lightning storm died about 80k's south of rocky. now some rain over monto at the moment.

Absolutely nothing here tonight.
And nothing last night either - all the storms evidently died around Isisford.

Rawhide - best luck for tomorrow and storms. sucks that you missed out tonight though. there are some smaller patches of rain developing around South-west Capricornia. Should continue to be an interesting night I'm thinking. VL Commy, don't you just hate when they just side track you, really buggers me. lol. how my rambling much irritate some.

well got 0.5mm. there was a big load of rain heading towards us, and just went elsewhere, disapeared.
they have mentioned 'locally' heavy falls in the district forecast, what is meant by locally?
