Nup just a few rumbles and 6mm. What the locals tell me here that storms need to come from the south west to reach Tieri, so I am doubtful the one above Clermont will reach here. Just wishful thinking.

Another lightning show out here tonight. Rain, thunder and lightning still going now. Rain died off, but seems to have picked up again now. I wonder if that other storm near Clermont will move in towards Emerald aswell. Im logging off - lightning getting worse. Will be back later

Nothing to report here yet. Everthing has gone around us so far. frown Can see the lightning from the line of storms that went past Gayndah. So close yet so far away.

Wind has just arrived here, had a gust measuring 92.1kph averaging about 60kph..

Does not look like we will get much out of this system...

Temp has dropped big time, raining, no thunder. Looks like it is re-building for you guys in Rocky.

Have fun.

As I mentioned earlier guys in your temp trace analysis for today. things were going to get better as the day progressed and while your atmosphere is not likely to sustain intense thunderstorms for very long (I'm talking Rockhampton here folks not the inland areas), the amount of water available throughout the atmosphere does have the potential to sustain intense shower activity and general rain overnight.

Anything yet Ang? We just got hammered again. 15mm in 8 mins. How do I know this??? Cause I went out to get my lil girl and me some tea, and got caught in it. Visability was 0. I also live in a part of Emerald that floods when we get a bit of rain - so then had to battle the water over the road getting back into my street. So far we are upto 39mm - and still coming down hard
