OMG, thats it - the best pics I think I have seen. Man oh man shooting lightning from above! Looking down on the strikes and not from below looking up.
Nothing else will suffice again...

They are brilliant... to be able to see each bolt's actual strike on the ground... speccy stuff!!

A very brave man - I've been at altitude during a couple of storms (French Pyrenees) and it is pretty impressive to say the least! Reading his comments on the French language site, the storm came in from behind him and passed right over the top of him - he was protected only by a small ledge from the sound of it eek

Its like a perfect 3-D perspective of lightning.

Looked like an intense thunderstorm there-look at the cloud structure!

OMG I didn't know that Europe got those kind of storms!! Probably the best lightning pics taken so far, from an interesting height too eek almost into the storm clouds eek
