While you might think that the more megapixels uve got the better, this isnt really the case. If u ask me 10 megapixels is WAY more than enough and if i had another choice id get a 2megapixel cam, because ~1800x1200 res images is all I need smile

Looks like a great value for money camera Tim. I use to own a fuji and it served me well.
But why would you bother advertising that your 7.3mp camera, has 12mb of inbuilt memory??lol Probably store 3 photos, 4 at best i reckon!!

This depends on your personal circumstances. My camera is 8.2mp, and i find that i dont use the extra MP much more for landscape, weather photography than i did with my old 6.3mp camera.
However, birds on the other hand, where i offten need to crop into the image, is a different story. I can crop just as hard as i use to, but get a higher resolution printable photo. I can zoom in as far as possible on a bird, then when post processing the photo crop the hell out of the centre of the photo, and still have a 1800x1200 printable image.

Yes I agree that is a joke! I have no idea why Fuji bother with that. Same with their other cameras that still include a 16MP card in it lol...

Zacy - "interpolated" means that the cameras software enlarges the images to 10mp from the original 3mp image. A good definition with examples on the Dpreview.com site. Essentially you have a 3mp camera. 3mp isn't too bad though, i'm sure it'll take decent photos.
