Great shot Loo!!
I'm with you 'Nut, bring on the cold.
Does this pic count? I have hardly seen a cloud in the sky for ages. Does not always take clouds to make great sunsets wink
Cheers,
Tim laugh

Loo, i cant see you picture. Id say it will be there in a little while.
Very nice Tim. Like you, i could probably post some nice blue sky images. Although, because we have had a grand total of 1mm of rain in Wodonga this year so far, there is a lot of dust in the air, so the blue sky pictures would be very light blue!
Weathernut, i would also love to see some snow this month. Snow isnt uncommon on the higher ground in march, but it melts very quickly so you need to be quick to catch it.\
And i also love cold air thunderstorms, although we dont get too many of them down here, i think southern victoria and SA are the winners with the coldies.

This is my first pictorial contribution to the autumn thread.
We had a nice sunset here tonight. I was out near lake hume, going for a drive with my wife, i wasnt expecting a nice sunset, so im glad i had the camera with me.
This first one will suit me anyday!

Anyway a susnet from tonight..

Great shots all and here is hoping for more than sunsets soon! Not that I do not love sunsets......
1mm Robbie this year! eek Hells Bells and I was starting to think we are getting needy for rain at our 35mm so far...
Cheers,
Tim laugh

This one from this morning. Short and slow shutter speed and ISO 50 as I was trying to capture the early morning mood.

Hi Blizzard

Nice pic! I love the mountains in autumn...always try and get up there at some point during the season each year. So you have clearish skies up there this morning? Dense, low overcast down here...cloudbase barely above the ground.

Matt

G'day Matt, thanks for that. Yeah, clearish skies now (5/8, mid to low) although it became very misty after that shot for an hour or two. Yeah, autumn is great up here. Give it another few weeks at least for the best colour. The potential is there for some very good colour this season.

Hi Michael

Not a bad shot that. Pretty ordinary Cu but the colours and the plant just finish it off nicely.
