good to see the humidity back?????
i would rather have the dry heat like yesterday but slightly less in temps.
the humidity today makes it feel warmer than is.
bring on the dry heat anyday
temps look normal for the rest of the week. spot on average of 31 degrees

yes but humidity = helps with rain/storm development . dry heat will only worsen bushfires and send the farmers into more strife. not to mention the increased evaporation from the already depleting dams.

talking about dams... our ones aren't doing too badly with supplies in perth at 40 percent and rain coming in april may.... hopefully!!
nice weather today about 26/27 clear not too much wind.
notice the 38 next thursday is now a 29. interesting how 7 day forecasts are prone to change
notice our average has shed 1mm to 855mm according to the weather section of todays paper. must be due to averageing out the rainfall each year or something. last year is was 856 mm year before was 859mm
elders weather prediction (which is not always right) says some rain right at the end of the month??

I had to laugh at old mate on Channel 7 weather tonight. He described the forecast max of 38c this Thursday as just a "minor hickup" along the way. It didn't look like much would bother him at his age, but i don't know... 38c is enough to ruffle my feathers... low humidity or not. It remains to seen how hard it'll be to achieve, but i'll be doing my best to ride it out in the comfort of the A/C.
Now... at what point do i get to see a cloud from this glorious city of yours? I'm all for the touries weather, but at this rate i'll have forgotten what cloud looks like by the time i pack my bags.

As I'm a former Perth boy, you will need to recite this prayer I put together to make any rain..lol
Our La Nina, who art in the heavens, Hallowed be thy name, Thy floods will come, thy rain will pour, On earth but especially in catchments, Give us this day with high LI's, And forgive us for GASP, As we forgive those who moan and whinge, And lead us not into clear skies, But deliver us from drought. For thine is the thunderstorm, And the microburst and gustfront, For ever and ever, Amen.

This pattern is very typical and no clouds for days on end is the norm. My American brother-in-law had the same problem when he first came to visit, he was amazed that day after day after day was endless blue skies (hence my name!<--) My father would tell him that he just didn't get up early enough, as there are sometimes a bit of cloud low to the east first thing after sunrise if there has been a south easterly breeze overnight but it soon burns off. If it was November or December there would likely be some daytime cumulus building over the hills in the arvo but it's got too hot for that now.

particularly if there is a cyclone about it could be extremely wet if that is the case. If there is a cyclone be prepared for delays when travelling in remote areas as roads my be closed and there aren't that many roads about up that way. Often when it rains they will close them anyway so they aren't damaged by people driving on them when they're damp and cutting them up.
Otherwise I would just start to keep an eye on temps and conditions in those places you'll be visiting on a daily basis from now on and you'll soon get an idea of what it's like up there.

i have been told it is now 28 days without rain here. i reckon this month we will get 0mm similar to 2005.
cloudless skies are almost guaranteed until at least april or late march.... unless we get some weak cold front or something....
the bom has now done a big backflip got rid of the 28's out of the forecast after thursday and made them all 34 or 35.. and upped the night temp to 25 !!!! grrr.... so looks like thecoolest it will be is 31 then heating up again next week similar to thursday.
amazing that a day or two ago they were going for 4 days of 28 and now they are 30+deg temps goes to show how inaccurate modelling the weather can be.
i wonder when perth will see some wet weather... the models are saying 0mm till at least the next 10days... i suppose it has to do with the high .. if it moved to the middle of the country brisbane's rain would go...
i suppose february will be the month of some wet stuff.. the ocf is saying 39 degrees next tuesday
all i can say for the next week is hot !
today was pleasantthough 34 with 16 percent humidity.

yes the wind was strong all day yesterday... got to 37 at 4.40pm.
today they reckon 39 degrees. so far a month without rain. looks like 2005 again with 0mm as the average
the bom seems to have downgraded the 34 or 35 all week to 31 or 32 degrees.
the ocf is saying 4mm next tuesday??
