Hi Corepuncher....
I was there yesterday, and it was fantastic! Yesterday definately was the better day to go to get the best shots, given the glare today.
I took 1000+ shots...
I can't recall ever having had so much fun!!

Hi Corepuncher & Lizzie.
I was there today and it was truly amazing event, and would have to agree with you there Lizzie, yesterday would have made for some great photography, today was hard grey planes against a grey sky.
I will post some shots soon.

awesome shots on here from the RAAF Show... And the Saturday was the best day for shooting down there..However i look like a Raccoon with my sunglasses burn.. ... I shot 700+ on the day..and the show itself was enough to reduce one Grown woman to a jumping and clapping big Kid.. ill get onto my sort and post some soon.. at least i get on last hit at the PIG's...December three when the fair well flyovers are being done in SEQ...

at least i get on last hit at the PIG's...December three when the fair well flyovers are being done in SEQ... They are still performing their daytime routine for the gold coast motor racing event - so there will be a final opportunity to view them before their retirement farewell/flypast.

The buggers all lied up there then yesterday claiming it to be the very last ever public flyby for the f111's...looks like a trip to qld it is then :o) Love them pics Julian, Its amazing how much better the planes look with a little colour behind then, I at one stage opted to just to all black and white images due to the grey out! Might have a play with a few of my better ones and bring the colours back if thats at all possible? And Eddy 3 photo!! love it, Once i sort through the remainder of my 1700 flyby shots and the 50 or so vid clips i'll throw them up on facebook,. I think i almost wore the new 100d out yesterday only had it a week and clocked 2k images so far,. i good storm and ill double that easy., Can anyone direct me to a free and easy to use prog to slap images together for a GIF-timelapse, i want to see what all my automatic fire photos look like together. by them selves look too plain and repetative but when flicking though them quickly they make a good animation. Mid air crash at german show yesterday... Thankfully the above didnt occur at Williamtown,.the skill of those pilots is just mind blowing to say the least, surprised there arent many more crashes!
