Well said RWM, also to mention is last years weak to moderate El nino in which we scored above avg rainfall also for that year. It cannot be said that because it is this, or that we should get this. That particular framework or calculation is out the window as has been proven of late. This particular "La nina" may not deliver in the long run and could pull up short at any time. I guess it boils down to staying in the moment and enjoy what is happening now.

Mick10 and RWM you both bring up excellent points. I also am in between a rock and a hard place. Ever since i was a young fella I have been stung by the weather bug, so when cyclone/wet season comes around, all I wanna do is watch the coral sea and watch the cyclones play BUT at the same time my Job is to report facts and important information that doesn't incite fear to those who wouldn't be as excited as I, or most of the member of this forum. So here is to an eventful wet season, as we see it day in and day out, without having to go over the top... And may it be a safe one at that! :0)

Just hearing some nice rumbles in the Towers now. Going by the radar, we might catch the edge of that line moving through soon.

Whose car.

Don't hit any roos on the way back at night. I have bad memories of that road, even to the extent of losing a radio aerial to an eagle which was feeding on road kill and took off a bit late...

Well done guys!! Can't wait to see the pics smile

It would be nice to get some showers out of the collapsed storms - might help dampen the enthusiasm of all these damn bugs!

YeahI thought the southern end of that line looked to be breaking up, but then another cell popped up & looks to be approaching the Towers. Thunder seems to have subsided now though. frown
