Looks like another walk up the road is in order if that cell down near the boarder keeps on going the way it is... and doesnt weaken.

This could be a very interesting afternoon/evening ahead for us. Hopefully the Cell down south swings north like what happened yesterday and I would be happy grin

The 512km loop on the Brisbane radar looks like fairy bread.

That was quite a nice experience! the first real storm of the season here, the sky had a slight tinge of green in it, wind gusts were very strong saw cg's about 5kms away and very loud thunder, poured down for 5mins 15mm in the gauge and I was only just on the edge of the storm which looked like a guster, another cell is heading this way so round 2 is quite possible grin

Border cell is less than 20 k's from me but I won't see a drop of it, can see the cloud out the window but I'm only on the fringe. Always on the fringe lately! frown

A nice squall line developing from Injune right down to Cunnyana. A bow echo there. That would be a good one to catch onto and gets some shots away.

The border storm looks as if it just moved north (is this called a "left mover" or is that something else?). Hopefully it will continue towards me so I can actually get a decent storm for 2010.

Fairly solid gales here south of Beaudesert - outflow has pushed well ahead of the storm but it's been windy for a long time!
