39mm out of the storm in Caloundra. Now that it has passed great lightening stricks to the north.

Anyone on the Harrisville cell, be careful!! Looks like it's starting to move more northerly too. Good luck all, stay safe! Got constant thunder and a very dark sky all around down here, and maybe a guster just starting to pop up over the trees smile

Just back from Jimboomba where I've spent the morning helping clean up at my dad's place, we hardly made a dint in it. So many trees have been snapped off 5-10m above ground. He still has no power and Energex were working in all the streets around his house. There is a huge gum tree that will fall right across the Mt Lindsey Hwy just before McLean's bridge near the garden shop - has a big lean on it.

I bolted home because I didn't want to get caught in this one coming now.
